Balth's Pendulium
I heard it mentioned twice today so I thought I'd ask... when is that skill good to bring around and when is it worth giving up something like a WoH to use?

Balthazar's Pendulum is a utility skill.
WoH is a heal, arguably the best hard heal available atm.
That said, it depends on what type of build you are creating. If your a healer, Pendulum could in no way replace WoH.

RA/TA pretty much, it's usually paired with a WoH/ZB Monk or WoR Rit.
Reversal of Damage
Smite Condition
Balthazar's Pendulum
Judge's Intervention
Signet of Devotion
Castigation Signet
Smite Hex
Smiter's Boon

No it doesn't. It's very powerful in certain TA builds, and making it "good" in other places will make it way overpowered in TA. And we already have a lot of OP crap in TA...no need to add more.

Run it with a Smiter's Boon monk in PvP. It's what I do because in RA and TA everyone and their mom runs some kind of knockdown skill and if your a monk your probably going to receive 90% of them.
Balthazar's Pendulum receives the benefits of Smiter's Boon, and it knocks down anyone trying to knock you down. It also has a 5 sec recharge so a smiter's boon monk can find this as a pretty spamable heal so even if your in a match where your not getting knocked down a lot it can still be used as a simple heal spell.

It's a great support skill when you are running a smiter. Run with smiter boon isn't a bad idea at all (good indeed.)
